the docs for subprocess measurement suggests you to create .pth file with the content:
import coverage; coverage.process_startup()
The problem is that after I uninstall coverage this brokens python. To fix this i did like this:
$ cat cov_multi.pth import cov_start; cov_start.cov_start();
$ cat cov_start.py def cov_start(): try: import coverage coverage.process_startup() except ImportError: pass
I got this error while trying to update coverage. You mentions this .pth thing being a hack... Anyway, i guess would be nice to have this mentioned in docs.
