Susie: Cursor busy with susie pluging

When using the susie plugin for avif images, the mouse cursor takes a busy state for a few seconds at startup. It's quite annoying. Can you do something with it, if you have time? Thanks.

Avif susie plugin from here https://github.com/uyjulian/ifavif I'm using this plugin because WIC AV1 plugin from MS Store is broken and can't decoding avif images properly.
