Until official support is added, you can follow these steps to manually add .jxl support to NeeView.

1. Install jxl-winthumb. Follow the directions on the jxl-winthumb github page. This will add .jxl WIC decoding support.
2. Add .jxl to NeeView’s image file extensions (Options → File Types → Image File Extensions → Click Add and enter .jxl )

The supported image formats of NeeView are those provided by the OS. For this reason, as Tttt said, we recommend adding an image codec to the WIC.
