django-autoslug-1.0.3.linux-x86_64.tar.gz unzips to usr
Issue #1
resolved
The tar.gz file I got from pypy, unarchives to ./usr
Something is definitely completely wrong about the way this is packaged.

As far as I understand, this is perfectly OK for a "dumb" binary package, see http://docs.python.org/distutils/builtdist.html.

On second thought, let's not go to Camelot. After closing the ticket, I wondered why do I upload binary packages at all. I almost always use trunk versions of any programs that I need (if it doesn't take too long to compile them), so I didn't pay much attention to packaging; now I'll do. The source package is already there, enjoy =)
Thanks for reporting!

Hmm, I'm using
$ python setup.py build bdist upload
. Any ideas/suggestions? If none, I'll come back to this issue in a while.
