How to audit/detect Project Groups for Jira usage?

My client uses your App on Jira Data center. As part of building an audit report capability for Jira we are looking at automated methods of reliably identifying which Jira projects are using your App.
Would you be able to advise how this might be done? It could be as simple as "a custom field named CF_AAA would be present in project issues where used".

We have Jira's full API and Database schema at our disposal including the ability to import 3rd party OSGI components/services so please don't hold back on technical options.
Of course, needless to say, any information you might supply would be assumed to subject to change at any point.

Any information you could provide or direct us to would benefit.

    Hi Krisztian,

It is not very correct to say that “projects are using App”, rather “App is using projects“. So all information about groups and how projects are linked to groups is stored outside project data.

I think you are searching for db table “AO_2E9800_PROJECT_LINK” with column “PROJECT_ID”. All projects in this column are linked to some group and then (somehow) using our App.
