Spherical cap harmonics.

Hello,
At the poles is it possible to do spherical cap harmonics ? I am just a newbie and looking at the net it seems there are orthogonal functions available for spherical cap harmonics (or maybe the restriction of orthogonal basis functions is not there for spherical caps ? Either way just asking a feature question. I am looking at a regional expansion of spherical harmonics for a spherical cap.

SHTns does not support spherical cap harmonics, and I have no plan to add such support.
