This is a simple tool to examine the structure of, and edit, AIFF audio files.
The specification is at http://preserve.harvard.edu/standards/audioiffspecification1-3.pdf
To build and install:
./configure make make install
You can add --prefix to ./configure to choose where the files should be installed; the default is /usr/local.
If you want to be able to convert AIFF files to MP3s, you'll need to have LAME installed; use --with-lame=path/to/bin/lame to indicate the location of the LAME binary.
