Metrics collection is not working on ubuntu server

I have deployed TA on Ubuntu servers, but data collection not working. Any insights?

Expected root cause:
- Newest versions of Ubuntu are shipped with Python 3, therefore at the time of this writing the TA still requires Python 2.7.x, or Perl with the relevant deps.
- Work is on going to move to Python 3
- Python 2.7 is still available in officials repos, and widely used

Any update on the python 3 support part?
We are looking into deploying the Metricator for NMON for Splunk HEC.When will python 3 support be available?
We are currently evaluating version 1.0.11. of the Metricator for Splunk HEC. -

Could you let us know which version exactly, I assume last available ?
Logs should show, most likely this would be caused by the embedded binaries not working on this version, and you could deploy the ones in the Ubuntu repo.
