Metrics collection is not working on ubuntu server

I have deployed TA on Ubuntu servers, but data collection not working. Any insights?

Hello !

Could you let us know which version exactly, I assume last available ?
Logs should show, most likely this would be caused by the embedded binaries not working on this version, and you could deploy the ones in the Ubuntu repo.

Expected root cause:

• Newest versions of Ubuntu are shipped with Python 3, therefore at the time of this writing the TA still requires Python 2.7.x, or Perl with the relevant deps.
• Work is on going to move to Python 3
• Python 2.7 is still available in officials repos, and widely used

Any update on the python 3 support part?
We are looking into deploying the Metricator for NMON for Splunk HEC.

When will python 3 support be available?
We are currently evaluating version 1.0.11. of the Metricator for Splunk HEC.
