TXML codes cloning error
Original issue 307 created by alessandra.mu... on 2013-01-12T15:03:56.000Z:
Created a Translation Kit from a couple of TXML files. When post-processing the kit, several warning messages are issued, and some codes in the merged TXML files are wrong. See the attachment for full details.

Any news on this? I am getting exactly the same bug... Manual editing didn't help for some files -(

I am getting the same bug, too, but I am experiencing it with sdlxliff file. Manual editing can be the option only when you get a small number of errors. Do you know what could be the cause of this bug and how to avoid it?
ThanksJan

Suspecting the txml filter is not numbering the codes correctly when the file is segmented. I'll see if I can take a look at it this week.
If you can unsegment the files before creating the tkit that would be one workaround for now. I don't know the details of the txml filter but I'm guessing you could drop the txml files in Rainbow and run a pipeline with:
RawDocToFilterEvents
Desegmentation
FilterEventsToRawDocFredrik

It seems the fix discussed here:
https://groups.google.com/group/okapi-devel/browse_thread/thread/b8bf59981cc885c2
would resolve those extra warnings.
I'll wait to be sure the fix can be applied before closing this topic. -

Thanks for the feedback.
Generaly warnings like "WARNING: The extra code id='1' cannot be cloned. (item id='2', name='')" come from extra codes placed in the target that are either not in the source.
I'll look at the files.
Thanks
