Merged in mihai_h2_update (pull request #588)
This updates the H2 database.
And adds minimal unit tests so that we discover stuff like this in the component itself :-)Also easier to debug.
If you think it not disruptive to just delete the whole simpletm component, say it and I will prepare another PR.
