Would you mind to review the initial work done within a pull request? Sure, there are some TODOs left to consider and it is all right to discuss anything you like.

Currently, all artifacts are deploying to my Nexus repo and snapshots are built for the “gitlab-integration” branch, which has to be changed to “dev” if we agree on other things.
