MapProxy crashes when built against OS X default Python.
I've got an OS X 10.7 system with Python 2.7.3 installed as a Framework (that's default for OS X). I've installed PIL, PyYAML and MapProxy. Serve-develop starts with default configuration (base-config). Server crashes on the first WMS GetMap or TMS request with no error message - it just returns to the command line.
The last message is:
mapproxy.source.request - INFO - GET http://osm.omniscale.net/proxy/service?layers=osm&width=512&version=1.1.1&bbox=-20037508.3428,-20037508.3428,20037508.3428,20037508.3428&service=WMS&format=image%2Fpng&styles=&srs=EPSG%3A900913&request=GetMap&height=512 200 23.3 166
MapProxy doesn't crash when built against Homebrew installed python. This could be ok, but I'm planning to use mapnik source with mapproxy. Mapnik requires boost library, and boost library builds against OS default python only. So I don't get mapnik bindings in my homebrew python. So the only solution left is to recompile boost against non-default python on OS X, but this isn't a trivial task at all.
Maybe something can be changed in MapProxy code, so it won't crash when getting wms/tms requests on OS X?
