A separate issue for the editor integration with mezzanine's media-library.
I managed to get the 'insert image' button in the current editor (wmd) to open mezzanine's media-library browser (as is the case when using the default TinyMCE editor), but I open the browser in an in-window popup (div, really) instead of a separate window. The alternative is to use the newer and still-maintained pagedown editor (http://code.google.com/p/pagedown/), which appears to have been started around August 2011, and the last commit as of now was on October 2012. On the other hand, the (current?) OpenLibrary's wmd editor was last updated on June 2010.
The second, and more relevant, advantage of pagedown is its hooks support (http://code.google.com/p/pagedown/wiki/PageDown), particularly the
I haven't tried anything to do with pagedown yet.
