Configure Service for Linux
This section is written with CentOS 7 in mind. First create the service unit in /etc/systemd/system/openesb.service with the following content. Replace /opt/openesb-3.1.2/OE-Instance by the root path of OpenESB Standalone.
[Unit] Description=OpenESB Standalone Service After=network.target httpd.service [Service] Type=simple User=openesb LimitNOFILE=65536 ExecStart=/opt/openesb-3.1.2/OE-Instance/bin/openesb.sh ExecStop=/opt/openesb-3.1.2/OE-Instance/bin/openesb.sh stop [Install] WantedBy=multi-user.target
then start the service
# start the service service openesb start # check the service is running tail -f /opt/openesb-3.1.2/OE-Instance/logs/server.log # enable the service at startup systemctl enable openesb
