    After conversations with Kenichi and experts, looks like the more solid path is to start with BLE

    Thanks for the update! Could you briefly sum up what the underlying issue is?

    PS: To clarify - the issue with NFC that makes BLE the easier path.

    Kenichi just wrote to me that BLE was found easier to test and play with for this use case (as opposed to NFC).

    NFC card emulation mode is not available to third party developers on one of the mobile OS
