for the sd-jwt vc profile, issuer metadata probably needs to have a parameter that indicates the digest alg supported - because the wallet should validate the disclosures by computing its hashes before displaying the received claims to the user

I suggest to progress the topic there first. Once it is consolidated, we can move it into the core spec(s), if we deem necessary.
