The example trust chain at https://openid.bitbucket.io/connect/openid-connect-federation-1_0.html#name-trust-chain-header-paramete contains the following base64url-encoded text:

"typ": "application/entity-statement+jwt"

Per https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc7515.html#section-4.1.9, “application/” should be omitted.
