Basic, Messages - UserInfo Error Response format underspecified

The language in the Error Response sections is ambiguous. Are we stating that we are using the OAuth 2.0 error format even thought this endpoint has absolutely nothing to do with OAuth 2.0? I don’t necessarily disagree but it isn’t a natural conclusion and so I suspect should be drawn out more explicitly.
