4.   Drafts and Ideas

4.1.   SIOP draft (Kristina)

Tobias circulated SIOP scopes document and breaking scope into parts. WG members are asked to provide comments and feedback.

4.2.   Integration of SIOP w/browser - WebID/WebAuthn (Tom)

WebAuthn might help with sign-in but does not address the issue of IDP discovery. WebAuthn requires registration w/device or platform authenticator to create credential. Cisco is doing some work using TCP/IP as transport protocol which might allow an app to act as an platform authenticator. The protocol most likely will be part of FIDO CTAP protocol. SIOP wallets can register as CTAP authenticator. The use case is for a user in a browser to get authenticated by the wallet and then get back into the same session tab.
