the schemas have been updated to point to their Bitbucket locations so this is no longer true – https://bitbucket.org/openid/ekyc-ida/src/master/schema/verified_claims.json
whether we should host them elsewhere, like the oid site, is a different question…

reporter I sent an email (CC eKYC WG) to the OIDF board to ash whether there is an established place or policy for the hosting of spec related schemas.
The schema definition should ideally reside at a URL which permanency can be guaranteed, so it it can be referenced from software and tools.

This was discussed with MikeJ and the recommendation is to have a new sub-directory at openid.net as a persistent location for stable schemas

A related question is whether the JSON schema document is actually going to be hosted at the advertised URL (it isn’t currently).
