  • OIDC for ID Assurance Overview - how to use it in Japan
  • Attendee from KDDI - already provide IDA but will need to change their policy as they don't provide attributes
  • Adsa - various ways to assure identity
  • Demo by Authlete of their current implementation
  • QA & Discussion

    • how to represent two id documents using current syntax - it is difficult - ticket already created
    • Language tags - Kanji for example - suggestion addition as part of request - ticket already created - Torsten has raised a ticket to provide metadata
    • Name Space - brought up bt Tony - Tony will create ticket for this
  • Workshop on Self-sovreign identity was held on Monday - a write up will be coming but will take a little time as note takers busy

    • 25 attendees including Kim Cameron, Tony Nadelin, ID2020 reps - much bigger and wider scope than expected
    • eKYC & IDA Could clearly be supportive of Self Sovreign
    • e.g. a wallet - Metadata might tell the RP about reaching out to trust frameworks

  • assigned to Kosuke to find a reference to the pertinent Japanese act and ideally share an authoritative english translation

  • Issue #1119 - Stéphane - introduced himself as eKYC consultant involved in regulatory work in Europe

    • Question - why not align with standardised definition - ICAO 93.03 (part 3) - international standard for travel documents
    • Analysis of the standard is required
    • Nat stated that this is the standard and we should align to it for travel documents
    • New Issue #1159 created to cover this
    • Action Stéphan to compare current version withh ICAO definition
