Report from F2F eKYC meeting

• Face-to-face - many attendees from outside the WG - Santander, OIX, Swift, GDS
• We learded that the Most important decision in 09 was to remove specific attributes from trust frameworks - Thorsten
• our spec should focus on technical way to convey data
• Testing our spec will be done by asking various parties to use our spec to create request, response and associated test data for their use cases

Swift meeting - 18-02-2020

• Identity architect of swift will do a review of our spec
• great demo of banco santander identity service

Timeline to publication

• In upcoming 09 version there will be removal of some info relating to id
• Proposal is that once we have published v09 we should go to implementers draft
• There is a milestone in bitbucket openid / ekyc-ida / issues — Bitbucket
• Torsten will find out about status of #1110 from Taka
• Proposal to close #1119 but will Torsten will send message to mailing list for full review
• #1171 Proposal to include in version 09
• #1172 Was widely discussed and ultimately decided to continue separate from version version 09
• Intent would be to publish v09 in 1 or two weeks
• Should we go for implementers draft with published version 09? - no objection

Implementations

• How do we find more implementations?
• Is anyone on the call going to implement in next couple of months?
• Santander - Will review and may try to extend the prototype in the next two months but the time may be difficult to achieve
• Yes.com - 3 implementation s in progress and a fourth is coming - feedback from developers are very positive
• QQ - would any Mobile operators try to implement in the US - That is Bjorn's hope - Bjorn will share with architect in each of the mobile operators and seek feedback or implementations
• Kosuke will share eKYC WG with other MOs in Japan
• Mark will ask Steinar to feedback or think of any potential other implementers
• Mark will approach GLEIF for feedback

External orgs/events

• We are nearly complete on the first release

• Mark probably speaking at Global IAM Summit on eKYC

• ICAO analysis (Kosuke) Pretty straightforward - please read #1159 - main issue
