External orgs/events

  • Nat will follow up with Stéphane about Digi Fisma relationship - Stéphane has spoken to key people and they are debating what to do because they are not yet able to express what they want in regard to working with the private sector
  • Stéphane shared that Digi Fisma are trying to leverage eIDAS by the private sector
  • Marcos Sanz will present our workshop prior to IIW
  • Rod is expecting to present in Toronto IIF digital finance symposium
  • Torsten will mail Rod and provide standard presentation

Aggregated/Distributed Claims

  • Open ID only supports claims from a single source
  • OIDF eKYC should support multiple claims from multiple sources
  • Proposal of an extension to permit an array
  • Consensus was that this is required
  • Relying parties should be aware they need to support the potential for overlapping claim names
  • What is difference between aggregated and distrated claims
    • aggregated claims - OP collects claims together into the ID Token
    • distributed claims - OP provides a reference to origin of various claims

What next after implementers draft based on v09

  • draft v09 will be the basis of the next implementers draft
  • Following this there will be discussion of a language to handle requesting conditional claims - driven out by #1172
  • ISO assessment will be followed up by Nat #1068
  • Alignment discussion around claim names - suggestion to consider separating eKYC specific claims from end user claims and how eKYC operates with end use claims generally - derived from #1119
  • Discussion of adding #1151 and #1155 - illustrations of how the spec can be used
  • Version management of spec - #1160
  • Suggestion is we should not work on Legal persons #1169 until conditional requests work has moved forward significantly
  • Mark suggested finding a way to prioritise Legal person -vs- age verification and conditional claims. Torsten will mail the list

Any other business

  • Discussion led by Stéphane around how there may be an opportunity to influence the next iteration of European Union identity - Stéphane will share what is being developed in this space.
  • Nat and Torsten expressed that the OIDF has experience preparing papers designed to influence policy
