External Orgs & Events

  • SIOP meetup - Nat

    • Nat and Kim Cameron had a discussion around SIOP.
    • Current SIOP implementaters implement in different ways. e.g. aggregated claims
    • The first step, start from exchanging issues between current SIOP implementers.
    • Nat announced the meetup on connect-core mailing list.
    • Not limited to entities who have own implementations, but these entities have higher priority.
  • Identiverse

    • It goes virtual and now started registration.
  • European Commission

    • Going to have private event on June 18th.
    • 15mins + QA session

  • Updates from Don(from post on mailing list)

    1. We await confirmation of the OpenID Foundation and the Financial Data Exchange Online Workshop in June TBD. The primary objective is a deep dive on Financial-Grade APIs. I’ve proposed an overview of the eKYC and Identity Assurance WG as well.
    2. The International Monetary Fund’s International Institute of Finance, Open Global Trust Framework Initiative will be launched soon. The OpenID Foundation will lead the technical work stream with a focus on Financial-Grade APIs and eKYC and Identity Assurance.
