  • FDX workshop

  • OpenID Foundation Japan KYC WG
    • focusing on three topics,
      • on-going KYC
        • investigating current operation of on-going KYC on several companies such as bank, credit card issuer, etc.
        • planning to have a event to present the result of the investigation on January 2021.
      • the next generation KYC
        • researching recent technologies or specs such as DID/VC/KYCIDA
        • discuss about UI/UX, too
      • KYC for legal entity
        • gathering use-cases from various industries such as credit card issuer, bank, telco, etc.
    • might be able to contribute on this WG, after they sign the IPR agreement
    • consider to join the regulatory call, but the time is not comfortable for most of Japanese WG members.

    • FAPI/CIBA spec about to be finalized.
    • Public review period starts on late July or early August.
    • Voting will be open on end of September or early October.
