Brief review of external Orgs & Events

  • Liaison relationship between Japanese government
    • Japanese Government have agreed to have liaison relationship between OpenID Foundation Global.
    • Their purpose is to extend their existing identity system for legal entity using eKYC & IDA's spec for legal entities by contributing the spec definition process
    • Don will provide standard contract document to Naohiro
    • Naohiro will an arrange meeting with them and Mark to share our current activity to them .

Agenda Items

  • Incorporation of Santander contribution
    • Finally Santander legal team agreed to sign on the contract with OIDF for contribution of their spec on the expression language.
    • The first step is creating new repo.
    • Alberto will send the current document to the mailing list
    • Also Santander will have a hackathon around digital trust, Alberto have posted about the event and anybody who have interest on it are able to join.
    • The OIDF will write a blog about the hackathon the next day

PRs & Issues

  • PR #42 – Age verification
    • Torsten revised the PR yesterday to have three elements on response, age, on_date, result, for age_is_at_least/most
    • For privacy consideration, define rate limit on requesting age_verification
    • Brian is pointing out that the current proposal on the claim request which have structured claim is not compliant with OIDF core spec.
    • Jules wrote a comment that on_date property should not be mandatory because the timezone between RP and OP may different in some case.
  • PR #47 – Scope
    • need to be reviewed who have interest on this topic
  • PR #41 – types of electronic signature
    • Will be one of the next meeting's agenda
