Brief review of external Orgs & Events

• GAIN - Gail, Torsten
  • Torsten, Gail and Mike had a brief discussion around this topic last week. And in the meantime they reached a conclusion that it is better to organize a separate working group for PoC related works.
  • The group will requires a separate agreement from current IPR agreement of OIDF workgroups.
  • Torsten hope a lot of members from eKYC working group join the new group since this initiative will build a technical prototype using IDA profile and there would be a huge opportunities to us.
  • Torsten and Donna lead the group.
  • OIDF announced cooperation with GAIN on blog.

• TISA - Mark
  • Mark had a chat with Nick Mothershow about recent activity in TISA project.
  • Nick still has some challenge in the project and Mark and Jules will hopefully to have a conversation with him to understand the challenge and how IDA spec address the problem.
• FIDO Alliance - Gail
  • We have an opportunity as OIDF member to join the FIDO's Authenticate event which will be held on 18th-22nd October and chance to have a breakout session. This opportunity is open to any member of OIDF and if there is a travel restriction, there will be a hybrid option.
• Interoperability event for mDL - Gail
  • October in Europe and November in US.

  • Mike has done the necessary work to start public review.
  • 67 quorum as of today.
• Interoperability/PoC event
  • Daniel explained the plan to have an interoperability event on 22nd November loosely associated with the OAuth Security Workshop.
  • Who on the implementation list on the wiki have an interest on the event?
  • Perhaps the implementers who have interest on GAIN PoC also might have an interest on the event.
  • Joseph and Torsten will have talk about conformance test next week and they would talk about the interop event at the meeting.

  • Hope to show a demo to working group till the end of September.
• Authority related issues - Mark
  • Mark and Naohiro had a talk yesterday about Authority claim related activity on METI and Digital Agency in Japan.
  • We have related issues now,
    • #1236 - Act as staff but assert director claims
    • #1237 - Add LEI Issuer Claim
    • #1244 - May delegate authority
    • #1243 - Add OpenID for Authority examples
    • #1258 - Represent legal entity beneficial owner
  • ISO 5009 - Standard organizational roles for financial services
    • Nat said the standard is still under development on TC/68 and FAPI working group have liaison relationship between ISO.
    • FAPI working group is now writing liaison letter to them and if we have additional comments we can incorporate with FAPI working group. Nat is leading the liaison.
    • Nat will send a copy of the current liaison letter to Mark.
    • The draft is under NDA and it should be handled carefully.

  • Mark will send a message Michael about this because he would be have interest on this.
