Brief review of external Orgs & Events

Main Agenda Items

  • OIDC for IDA final
    • Taka raised an issue #1288 related to external attachment.
    • Taka pointed out that the Implementers draft 3 is not stable now
    • Section 5.1.2.2. - Issue #1288 digest of external attachment is not always computable
      • From his customer's voice, it is difficult to compute the digest when include a digest value of an external attachment.
    • Section 7.7. - Issue #1276 SAO eval order
      • When implement the spec, this would be a critical issue
      • Taka will raise an issue against the section 7.7.
    • Transform claim of birthdate between YYYY and YYYY-MM-DD - Issue #1283
      • This is just a starting point of transform claims
      • Taka's opinion is it would be better to wait for comments from implementers before finalize the spec.

    • PR #87 – add verifier – Jules – perhaps with reference to Issue #1275 - OP Metadata clarification
      • Mark will ask at the next week call whether this change would be a breaking change for other people.
      • Jules will have presentation about this issue at the next week call.

      • Mark asked Bjorn and Elizabeth review the PR from perspective of NIST SP800-63A
    • PR #100 – beneficial owner – Mark & Naohiro
      • Naohiro had a meeting with Digital Agency Japan yesterday and they're almost supportive to have BO data in the authority claims.
      • Their opinion was it would be required to define the data format of BO data to be transported between parties such as financial institute and their client companies.
    • Naohiro will add comment on the PR
