It looks as though the new digest-headers draft spec is introducing a Content-Digest header https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/ietf-http-wg/2021AprJun/0221.html which would probably be more appropriate than Digest (particularity for responses) in SHMIP and other HTTP signature schemes.
