The installation docs and upgrade docs aren't clear about what South is and how to use it

Improving the install page, filling out the 'in depth process' a little. Next stage will hopefully improve ref #13.

Added note on Linux/Windows slash convention, running the test server on a headless system, numbered the in depth process and added creating and migrating the database. Refs #13.
