Add a filter for suspected test patients
Will help clean up the charts view, though I would recommend not using this filter for exports so that the user can make their own judgement

I had forgotten about this problem @dplatten - and it made one of my charts look like something had gone very wrong! Was relieved to find the culprit had 'test' in the patient name
-
reporter @dplatten - do you not have QA data in your database? I'm not sure if this should be a tick box just for plotting, as the QA data makes the charts very messy, or if it should be in the filtering generally.
I'm reluctant to promote generally filtering out studies with anything in the test patient field, as it would remove real patients from exports, just because they have 'qa' or 'phys' etc in their name.
-
@edmcdonagh, there probably some QA data in my database, but not much: I am in the habit of deleting it when I see it.
Would you like the chart data to leave out studies that have anything in the test patient field?
-
reporter As an option, yes
-
reporter Successfully added choice to remove possible test patients from the CT listing, which massively improves charts where there are qa data in the dataset. Refs

Hi @edmcdonagh. This sounds good. Where should the option to exclude the test data appear?
-
@edmcdonagh, ignore my prevous question: I was looking at my live system, rather than the test site, so couldn't see the option...
