using openskin standalone

Issue #24 new
veneto created an issue

Hello there,

I find very interesting openskin. I would like to use it standalone but I need a prefilled csv file so I can figure out how it works. Can someone send me such an example ? I tried to use the "view" csv file as input but I didn't see any peak skin dose nor a Gy number... Many thanks in advance.

    If you go to the downloads section you can find "Headings.csv" that explains what is expected.

    There used to be an executable to download but as there are outstanding issues that affect the accuracy of OpenSkin (patient orientation being the most significant) there is currently no build available.

    Hi Jonathan, Thanks for your very nice skin dose adds-in, it is really interesting. Just wanted to know what is the formula for "calculated peak skin dose " as generally I guess it is underestimated value considering the patient thickness, SSD (Source skin distance), and other factors. Where you have considered the back scatter factor.

    Thanks again for your answer in advance. Best Regards Hamid
