Is ori still maintained?
Issue #21
closed
I like the idea of ori providing a distributed file system with snapshots. I have tried it and had some bugs. However, before opening bug reports I would like to know if ori is still maintained?

Yes I still use Ori personally. Mostly working on replacing a good portion of the code base with a new architecture. It's unfortunately very tied into a research project that I don't want to put online.
I'm happy to support any additional folks working on Ori.

I am also interested in this, as I am planning on using ORI in a classroom project, and woud like to know if it's still being maintained. I would fork it, but I will be moving on by the Summer, and would need to leave this functional for other people. One main question for me right now: is there a way to setup replication over WAN, without a VPN setup? It seems that orisync replies on two-way ssh being possible, which is not always true, especially if you're behind a router. Particularly, it is confusing why it is not possible for communication to happen with only one ssh tunnel.
