Missing dependencies in ppa:ezyang/ppa

I'm not sure this is the right place for this issue, but here goes:

I have no experience building deb packages, but after installing ori from the PPA I get errors of the form "ori: error while loading shared libraries: libevent_core-2.0.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" and I had to install several libraries (libevent-core-2.0-5, libevent-extra-2.0-5, ...) manually. Looking at the *.desc file of the PPA I see that there are "Build-Depends", but no pain "Depends" in there.
