Issue #136 resolved

Will the outstanding branches in the ariac software be merged and used in the docker image that will be used for the final evaluation? If so, when is that image expected to be ready?

    Hi there,

The docker image for running trials has been frozen since Monday; the same one that's been used in the prefinals testing will be used for the Finals.

I'm happy to shed some light on the recent activity in this repo for peace of mind:

    1. The final docker image does include this change to the logging frequency which potentially affects the RTF, but the RTF on the competition machines is different on teams' machines anyway (which is why we do the prefinals testing on the competition machine itself, so you can test against the RTF of the competition machine).
    2. This change to state log playback is not in the final docker image but will be used for reviewing the finals. It only affects log playback (not trial running).

I pushed the exact images being used for prefinals testing/finals to dockerhub. For the competitor base image there's no change; for the ariac server there's just the logging change mentioned in (1).
