Belt doesn't move parts once its restarted

If you set the velocity to 0 with rosservice call /ariac/conveyor/control "state: {velocity: 0.0}"
, the contacts of the parts auto-disable and then the belt thinks there are no contacting links. This means that if you give it a non-zero velocity the parts still won't move.

The limitation has been mentioned here but since it's a 'cheat' interface this is low priority
