qualifier 1b question

Quaifier 1B says: "In Part B teams will be presented with a previously unseen scenario"

We'll need to know where to place cameras (team config). Can we assume the same 5 bins will be used in qual1B? Will the quality-control sensors also be located in the same places as in qual1A?

Also, some customization is required for manipulating different parts. Can we assume that qual1B will use only parts that have been introduced so far? (gear, piston_rod, pulley, gasket)?

All good questions, I will work on a page summarising the environment limitations.

The same 5 bins will be positioned in the environment, though some may be empty. The quality control sensors will be in the same place as for qual1a, that's correct. You are correct that the parts seen so far are the only ones that could be used for qual1b, though keep in mind that there are five: gear, piston_rod, pulley, gasket, and disk.

I'll post here when the wiki has been updated to include this.
