    Suggest changing AtlasStates.msg to AtlasState.msg, as each instance of that type of message contains a single state (though multi-variate) value for all of Atlas.

      will do. for some reason I stayed away from singular because of what happened to sensor_msgs::JointState :)

      Should the corresponding ros topic change from /atlas/atlas_states to /atlas/state?
