Picstagrab won’t post because it thinks account is private

Both me and my partner and I use iPhone 6s Plus Today we have both found we cannot repost to Instagram because Picstagrab displays error message stating the account in question is private, it it’s not we’ve checked and tried others we know are not. We’ve rebooted phones, my partner updated to the latest Picstagrab version (I’m already on it) - still doesn’t work Could you possibly have a look - Picstagrab is a great app, so a shame not to be able to use it

I’m on iOS 11.2.5, not sure about my partner but he won’t be many versions different My email is strand@hailmail.net (I created an atlassian a/c but am struggling to log an and find where to raise this bug)

    I noticed the same thing this evening, and after some investigation, it turns out that Instagram has without warning turned off the possibility to access pictures you have liked, and also turned off the possibility to search for users. Since the search function does a search both for users and tags, the search fails. I am working on a fix that will only search for tags in order to get the search functionality up and running again as well as removing the “pictures I have liked” page.

    I have just released a version where search for tags is once again working.

    Really sorry for the inconvenience this is causing.

    Updated in version 2.6.2. However, search for users and the "Pictures I have liked" page is disabled due to the new Instagram restrictions.
