Control of magnetic field line appearance

I can see that one can remove the wireframe option and get thick magnetosphere magnetic field lines, but can the wireframe field lines be made thicker than is currently possible?

More importantly, can the user be given control over the colour and thickness of the magnetic field lines that pass through the spacecraft? It seems that this is not an option right now?
