E-mail alert when calibration is due

Could you include a feature that sends a designated user an e-mail alert when calibration of a specific piece of equipment is due? I would prefer to choose when the alert is sent. E.g. for some equipment 7 days in advance, for other 30 days in advance.

Hello, in order to send alerts to users Kalibro should be running always not to send email alerts late, as it is a critical job. To do that, a server may run kalibro always to manage email alerts. Moreover, to let kalibro send emails, email settings must be predefined and kalibro must be able to access the predefined email server with appropriate email account settings. This solution seems to be difficult for some users. Is it OK for your case?

Hi Walter, this was a proposal, I need to code an application for that and not available now. I consider to build an application for alerting users when calibration is due instead of a big server application. This alerting application can be triggered from a windows task scheduler or a linux cron job. It is better to build a server application 6 months later but until that time kalibro users should benefit from an alerting application via email.
