Delete page from Pocket instead of marking as read

A little (?) feature request:
There’s this feature in the options menu “Mark page as read when you open it”. This archives the page in Pocket. It’s nearly impossible to clear this data once you archived a few thousand page this way. Supposedly for technical reasons if you can believe the Pocket help pages.
I’d like an additional option that says “Delete page from Pocket when you open it” . That way you don’t pile up tons of data that you can’t easily get rid of. Users who find the archive function useful can continue to use it and shouldn’t be affected by this new option.
I believe the same happens when you click the Page Action of saved item, would be nice to be able to choose archive or delete as the action
