DFS Support for 5GHz WiFi
Issue #22
resolved
It is currently not possible to use 5GHz WiFi with 80MHz channel width when the regulatory domain is set to Europe, or any country in Europe. It is also currently not possible to use any of the channels for which DFS is required when the country code is set to United States. Support for DFS already appears to exist in the device drivers.
I am using a Linksys EA6900. When flashed with AsusWRT, DFS is fully functioning.

I checked DFS channels with the new driver. Working now, BUT it depends on your hardware/router and country. For example, R7000 will offer 80 MHz channels now for EU (not just auto). RT-AC68U will behave different, depends on the country you live/choose.
you can test it
in my opinion, this issue can be closed

Yes, has been like that for a long time
40 MHz is available/possible with DFS channels (Europe, Germany, …) . Did try a few things (no success), but right now i think only a newer wifi driver can help us for that case. The channel-list seems to be included …
Workaround: use a different country (SG for example)
