Linksys EA6500v2 random reboots everyday @ 2020.6 / 2020.5 / 2020.4
Two devices, same model(linksys ea6500v2), same issue, same firmware type(AIO), tested versions:
- 2020.4
- 2020.5
- 2020.6
Backed to 2020.2 version, it’s stable for 3 days(maybe longer).
Before every upgrading, I’v clear the NVRAM, formatted the JFFS file system, restored by my settings, as listed:

It might have something to do with the new SDK introduced in 2020.3.
Did you load the ctf module by the way?
-
reporter Thanks for reply. Yes, I enabled
CTF
module.BTW, Router’s uptime is 9 days @2020.2 version.
-
I had the same issue on N18U with ctf on. Unloading it helped but the performance sucks.
Now I am back to the old SDK. See if the SDK was the right one to blame.
-
please test 2020-8 final. (no backup, start from scratch)
we have a lot of changes for wifi and ctf. (i have R7000 and RT-N18U with 30 > days uptime with ctf enabled)
