reporter hello Piotr I have just executed the following steps: install fedora 24 minimal using Fedora-Server-dvd-x86_64-24-1.2.iso install Plasma: dnf groupinstall "KDE Plasma Workspace" enable your repo and installing KDE4 dnf copr enable peem/kde4-fedora
dnf install kde4-fedora --allowerasing --bestkde4 is installed but my problem is still present
Could you explain and detail wich steps you have followed to correctly install KDE4?

reporter hello Piotr I have also tested using Fedora-KDE-Live-x86_64-24-1.2.iso After installing the system I have enabled the repo and installed kde4 but the result is the same

repo owner Hi Giuseppe,
This is strange, that would be the exact process I used.
I'll try to check it over weekend.

I can confirm that this behaviour is observed. No fix for it yet.

reporter Hello Piotr thanks for support There are also some strange but not critical issue for example all system notifications for example notifications for new updates or notifications for network connections are displayed on top of desktop and not on kde system tray

Hi.
I can't quite replicate that, my fedora24 test VM shows widgets fine and I can place them on desktop.
Did you installed Fedora with full KDE first, then used kde4-fedora repo to override the defaults? That is how I'm testing it : install minimal fedora from iso, run 'dnf groupinstall "KDE workspaces group"', then enable copr repo and install kde4-fedora.
If you trying to install kde4-fedora over minimal install instead of over KDE install, there most likely packages are missing.
The repo is meant to be installed on a system installed form live kde iso image, however I did not tested that for a while.
If you trying that, that should work. If not, I'll have a look.
Regards, Piotr
