Sometimes after seeking the video stays paused when it should be playing

sometimes if I seek a new video position when the video is in pause, the video does't like to un-pause again very easily. Most of the time it is fine, but every once in a while I have to play with it a couple of times to get the video to resume. I can easily skip to a different position while the video is in play and it will never once hang. Like I said, only every once in a while when paused do I notice this problem.
