Override file not being applied

The commands in the physics override file are not being applied in v3.6. I have not done a comprehensive census, but at least the cloudvary command is being ignored. I noticed this when trying to configure the cloud model and no matter what parameters I put in, I got the same answer out.

could you attach the files you used? we're having trouble reproducing this.

I've attached two files nobackgroun is the file that ships with phosim and nobackground_cv has the commands to set the cloudvary parameters. I ran ./phosim --keepscreens=1 examples/star -c examples/nobackground_cv --output=output1 and ./phosim --keepscreens=1 examples/star -c examples/nobackground --output=output and then compared the atmosphere_99999999.pars and they are identical.

oh, but look at the photometry of the output images. they should be dramatically different.

I'm confused. I want to change the cloud screens themselves. Can I do that with configuration parameters?

Also, why do the values not propagate into the working param files?

It turns out there is no way to configure the spatial distribution of the clouds. This is not currently supported and I don't believe is on the roadmap.
