AUX 3 postion switch works intermittently

I have an issue with the intermittant funcioning of the three position switch to turn pan compensation off. it works occasionaly. Also if the AUX is set to pan compensation off, and the skyline is powered up, the switch needs to be cycled half a dozen times to canel the compensation. It should see that the switch is in the off position to avoid the spinning of the airframe.
