is there a way to make a seperate input for programming, so i dont need to disconnect and reconnect the pan input everytime i program it?

I'm not sure I can make a separate input. What I can do is put an option in the software to switch the roll and pan inputs around. This means you would have the roll unplugged to program. This might be more convenient for some people.

You could use a two pole to position switch to switch the red and white wires between the receiver and the programmer.
