doesn't display properly in a narrow view in browser

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. resize browser to half width of the screen.
2. contents display only the left part
3. doesn't have a horizon bar to scroll to the right half part.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
a horizon bar or zoom in total view

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.9.2

Please provide any additional information below.

Thanks for reporting this issue. If you scroll down, there should be a horizontal scrollbar
at the bottom of the grey box.

I am not saying this is a perfect solution. In fact I hate it myself.
This has already been criticized in issue #94 . I'd say it's a duplicate report so
I am merging both issues. Unfortunately, a good solution seems to be not so easy. In
case you are very good at CSS, your help is appreciated.
